How to Get WHQL Logo Certification

To get started, just to contact us and we'll guide you along!

1. Contact Us

Tell us about your testing needs. For example:

• What type of product do you wish to test (system, type of device, etc)?
• Is your product still in development or is it production ready?
• Do you have a deadline?
• Device: Do you just want to have your driver signed?
• System: Are you using a logo'd motherboard?
• Do you have a URL to your product online?
• Do you have any questions?

Include your phone number if prefer to discuss by phone.

We'll contact you and send you a Master Testing Agreement.

Request a Quote if you're interested in our Premium Plan.

Note: You do not have to choose a plan until you start your first project with us.

2. Sign the Master Testing Agreement (MTA)

Send us the signed MTA by email or fax.

The MTA includes a basic NDA. We can also use your NDA if you prefer.

3. Select a Plan

A plan establishes pricing and deliverables for one or more projects that you start.

No worry, a plan is not a subscription and there are no recurring fees.
You will not be billed at this time!

4. Start a Project

Send us an email to initiate a project.

Include the name and email address of a technical contact in your company in case we have technical questions about your product.

Also send us your VAT number (EU customers) and billing information.

We will confirm the project or contact you in case the details are unclear to us.

We will send you shipping instructions.

Before you can make a Winqual submission, there are some important things to check.

5. Billing

You will be billed based on the plan you’ve chosen when you started the project.

If you're inside the EU, you won’t receive an invoice until the project is completed.

If you're outside the EU, we send you a PDF invoice at this time.
Testing begins when we've received payment.
To speed up the process, you can pay by credit card.

6. Send us your product

Use our shipping instructions and send us your hardware.

Email us drivers and/or software. If you wish more secure delivery, you can use FTP or a secure download service of your choice.

We'll let you know when we have received your product samples and files. If we have everything we need we will start preparing the test environment.

7. Testing Begins

If you’re located outside the EU, we wait for your payment to arrive before we start testing.

You will receive regular progress reports until testing is completed.

If we run into issues, we'll get in touch with your technical contact.

8. Results

As soon as we complete testing, we send you the results.

The contents of the delivery may vary according to the plan you've chosen.

The project is now completed. At this point you can make a submission to Microsoft Winqual.

Note: If you have chosen the Free Plan, you will need to upgrade to another plan if you'd like to receive the log files to make a submission.
